always accepted, not rejected

I don't read very many books, but I'm reading one now and really like this:

"In one sense, God is a "tasteless friend." Seemingly He is endlessly tolerant about those who come to Him for help and endlessly patient in waiting for those others to recognize the need of His help. But He has a solid foundation to do just that.
